Career Goals

I have always found success when I am able to collaborate and work within a team. My passions for story telling and organization have lead work in Event Planning, Project Management, and Communications. I have been able to combine my love of planning and technical skills to Project Management. I have been fortunate to expand my skills in digital and design related projects such as website maintenance, studio shoots, application launches, new product builds, banner ads, and presentations. My organization coupled with time management, logistics coordination, and interpersonal skills have given me great success in these roles. My true passion has become using these passions to work collaboratively with Product and UX teams to improve tools.

People Skills

I have always had a knack for communication and fostering strong interpersonal relationships. These skills have come to the forefront as I have been able to speak at donor events for various charitable organizations, serve as a coordinator for youth programming, develop strong relationships with clients, and create positive work environments for teammates. My patience and ability to relate to others enables me to plan events and projects from the perspective of clients. During university I was able to take courses to be an ally and advocate for marginalized communities. These courses improved my active listening skills, empathy, and understanding; I am proud to be able to apply these insights to my professional career.

Interests

My interests may seem eclectic since they range from attending concerts, volunteering with youth, and managing large projects. The largest commonality is human connection! Though concerts, conferences, team building trips, and state improv competitions I have been able to experience the joy and wonder of community, creation, and the power of connection. By crafting and perfectly executing events through strong communication and project management attendees are able to be immersed in something that brings them joy.
